INTRODUCTION
Peter J. D’Adamo is a well-known researcher and lecturer in the field of naturopathic medicine. He is the director of the University of Bridgeport’s new centre of excellence in generative medicine.
He is the creator of the famous blood type diet, developing the thesis of his father James D’Adamo, who was the first to observe how patients belonging to different blood types reacted differently to the same diet. Peter J D’Adamo undertook a research path with the aim of establishing whether there was a correlation between diseases and blood types, and placed lectins, a family of agglutinating proteins contained in foods, at the origin of this link.
